Karin Muller has produced several major documentary series for National Geographic and PBS: Along the Inca Road, a seven-month odyssey into the heart of the ancient Inca Empire; Japanland, a four-hour series on traditional Japan;and Hitchhiking Vietnam. She has authored three books that have been widely reviewed and translated into eight languages and is a regular on the professional lecture circuit as an expert on Japan,
Vietnam, Peru and Tanzania. Karin graduated Williams College Magna Cum Laude with a degree in economics and has run Firelight Productions, Inc, a successful media production company, since 1999. Karin recently spent three months documenting the war in Chad and genocide in Sudan. Currently, Karin Muller continues to work with National Geographic, Smithsonian, and PBS filming environmental issues for Take 2.
